The goal for Office Hours is to give our volunteers a space to ask questions and get to know one another. | 4/20/2023 | 2022-23 Volunteer Workshop #4 | AARP Foundation hosted its fourth Experience Corps volunteer workshop of the 2022-2023 school year with presenter MENTOR Director of Training and Product Design, Desireé Robertson, on “Valuing and Maximizing Diversity in Mentoring Relationships.” Desireé then answered viewers’ questions during a live Q&A. | 3/24/2023 | In-person Huddle | This training was held instead of previously scheduled Office Hours. Our goal is to connect you with your peers across the program, share your experience so far and have your burning questions answered. | 2/23/2023 | 2022-23 Volunteer Workshop #3 | AARP Foundation hosted its third Experience Corps volunteer workshop of the 2022-2023 school year with presenter Dr. Beth Botzer on “Evolving Our Understanding of Social Emotional Learning.” Dr. Beth then answered viewers’ questions during a live Q&A. | 12/9/2022 | Structured Session Refresher Training | Led by national Master Trainer, Mary Marker, this session helps volunteers reflect on their first weeks of tutoring and revisit the structured session to promote program fidelity.
